A: These shades are made with pure duochrome pigments at maximum load to create that visible color-shift and high impact in one swipe. The pigments are rarer and the filling process is more specialized, which increases cost. You’re paying for richer payoff, more dimension, and a finish standard shades can’t replicate.

A: Due to the gel-like, creamy texture, it’s essential to use a sharp, high-quality makeup sharpener. We recommend our Single Sharpener or the Velvet Love Duo Sharpener.

Q: What’s the difference between “Metallic“ and “Perfect“?
A: All Velvet Love Eyeliners with "Metallic" in the name have a shimmering, metallic finish. Those labelled "Perfect" have a matte finish.

Q: Are the Velvet Love Eyeliners waterproof and smudge-proof?
A: Our Velvet Love Eyeliners have not been specifically tested for waterproof properties. However, once applied, they stay reliably in place. If you generally experience challenges with the longevity of creamy products, we recommend using a primer beforehand and additionally setting the product afterwards for enhanced wear.

Q: Which shades suit my eye colour?

Q: My result doesn’t look like the product photos – why?
A: To intensify the effect, we recommend blending the eyeliner slightly after application and then reapplying it. This layering technique enhances the look. Also, note that the shimmer effect depends on the lighting. Try swatching the eyeliner on the back of your hand and view it in natural daylight – you'll see how beautifully intense the metallic finish can be.

Q: Are the Velvet Love Eyeliner suitable for sensitive eyes and contact lense wearers?
A: Our products are, of course, tested on volunteers before being sold. The formulation has also been tested by individuals with sensitive eyes, including contact lens wearers, and has been well tolerated – including our Velvet Love Eyeliner. These results have also been confirmed by ophthalmologists. Please note: We do not recommend applying the metallic shades on the waterline.
