A: ZOEVA brushes go through 30 elaborate production steps. In high-quality handcraft the brush hairs are bound and cut; the “crimping” method fuses the handle to the brass ferrule; the wooden handle (from sustainable forestry) is sealed with six layers of oil-based varnish. All materials are vegan and tested to ensure no harmful substances are used.

A: Both are soft synthetic hair. White hair features our Soft-Vegan-Performance™ mix for powders; black hair is a mono mix for all textures.

Q: How do I clean my brushes properly?

A: ZOEVA makeup brushes are made of pure synthetic hair. Thorough, regular cleansing is essential:

1. Wet the brush hairs with lukewarm to body-warm water.
2. Clean the brush with our ZOEVA Brush Shampoo Bar or a mild shampoo in circular movements.
3. For more thorough cleansing, use a rough surface such as our ZOEVA Brush Cleansing Pad.
4. Lather thoroughly to dissolve all product residue.
5. Rinse completely with lukewarm water.
6. Squeeze out excess water.
7. Gently brush over a soft towel.
8. Lay flat to dry (ideally with the bristles over an edge for airflow).
   • Do not dry standing upright; water may collect in the ferrule or handle.
   • High-quality synthetic bristles can also be disinfected without drying out.
   • For quick interim cleaning, wipe the brush with cleaner or disinfectant on a towel (this is not a substitute for deep cleaning).
